Hyundai Santa Cruz Bed & Exterior Design
The most notable attribute of the Santa Cruz exterior is the integrated rear pick-up truck bed. The open bed allows you to carry urban, adventure, occupational, or even home improvement gear and equipment more efficiently than a traditional SUV trunk space. The bed area also includes hidden bed storage and an available lockable tonneau cover for maximum security.
What sets Santa Cruz apart, though, is what you get with the rest of the vehicle in combination with the open bed space. Overall the Santa Cruz features a bold and modern design typically not found with open-bed utility vehicles. At the front, the daytime running lamps (DRLs) create a striking parametric jewel design that leads into a stylish cascading front grille.
As you move around the Santa Cruz, you'll notice the steeply raked A- and C-pillars further emphasize the unique sporty profile of the vehicle. The large 20-inch triangular design alloy wheels are surrounded by armor-like wheel arches, alluding to its off-road capability.
The rear tail lamps feature a horizontal "T" lighting signature which adds visual width and are embossed with: "Designed in California" as a testament to the passion of Hyundai's California-based design team.
